Holistic Oral Health Principles

Bacteria in our mouth can harm our health and heart. Some bacteria in the mouth have been linked to higher rates of heart disease.
- Brush your gums and teeth after eating. Avoid toothpaste with chemicals and fluoride. Fluoride is a health hazard and toxic.
- Use baking soda several times a day to clean your gums and teeth
- Use Epsom salt or sea salt and water to gargle and rinse
- Use coconut oil for oil pulling after you brush and rinse in the evening or morning.
- Make a natural tooth soap with Dr. Bronners pure castille soap and peppermint essential oil.
- Certain herbs and spices like turmeric have also been found to provide some holistic oral health benefits.
- Remember … amalgam filings contain mercury and should be avoided and even removed. Do your research first.
- Remember that heavy metals in crowns can be a serious health hazard. Root canals are another health hazard.
